edit categories and archives backend

    Hello;

    My categories section is adding in a blank li and I’d like to get rid of it, but can’t find which file is responsible for doing that. It isn’t in the theme files – I know that much for sure. Can anyone tell me which file to edit to control the display of categories? I’ve tried looking in the categories.php file, but I can’t find the code I need to change there.

    You’ll need to point this out because looking at your site’s source, I don’t see any empty or errant li tags.

    Is there something awry in the link manager. Its not the markup.
