Edit Cart-Collaterals, Cart_Totals

How can I edit the cart-collateral and/or cart_totals to better align everything? As you can see in the image from the link provided, the layout is pretty poor. I would like to move the shipping calculator button more to the upper right and align the shipping header with the calculated shipping costs. I am using this with the Tree Table plugin if that has anything to do with it. Thanks for any suggestions!
