Edit buttons on Live Pages & Posts
-
My Site is a new new install of WordPress into the root directory from my hosts CGI panel one click install. Upon install I upgraded to 4.7.i. I selected twenty seventeen as a theme and set up my first page and post. On preview I noticed buttons which said edit. They were clickable and took me directly back into my admin panel. I do not want that available on published pages. I published to see if it would go live, it did. i deleted it. I went down the steps of trouble shooting and none affected this. I went back to twenty sixteen and it still happened. I have not done any CSS or touched any code. This happened from the start.
Everything else seems to be working normally. I am assuming this is a php problem but I have very limited experience working with php. I have two other sites that have been up for ages and I’ve never had a problem with WordPress before so i am at a loss. Any help appreciated.
