The Edit button in the admin bar (and the Edit this page link at the bottom) link to the wrong place when Frontier Post plugin is activated. There are no other plugins enabled.

With FE is disabled, my homepage edit link works ok and its url is:
    https://my.site.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=2&action=edit

If I enable FE then display the homepage, the edit url becomes:
    https://my.site.org/?page_id=2428&task=edit&postid=2

and when clicked, takes me to the post editor instead of the page editor.
Note that page_id is the “page containing shortcode”.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled FE to no avail. I have deleted and created new shortcode page, still doesn’t help.

What could cause this to happen?

Note: I meant FP above, Frontier Post, not FE.

If you disable “Frontier Edit” in the Frontier Capabilities, the edit button will always link to the backend.

If you keep “Frontier Edit”end uncheck “Can Page” in capabilities, you will use FP for post, but not for pages.
