Edit button doesn’t works

Hello,
I have version 2.0.25 and WordPress 5.1. I can’t update the plugin because my site crashes when I try to update the plugin. The main problem is that users can’t update the informations of their profiles, the button seems doesn’t work. I tried to activate a default WordPress template, deactivate all plugins and used Query Monitor, but the edit button doesn’t works and I cannot understand what cause the problem, even with query monitor ( surely I can’t use the monitoring plugin).
