Edit Button Disappeared Even Tho' I'm Logged In

  • I have always had an “edit” button and a “comments” button in the upper right hand corner of posts until about an hour ago (how is that possible?!)

    I’m the only Admin. I am logged in. I have logged in and out and in again. And yet I see only the “comments” button, but no “edit” button on my posts. Meaning I’m having to go to the dashboard if I want to edit a post.

    Is there something I could have inadvertently “turned off” that I am unaware of? I thought this was an automatic WP feature.

    Nevermind! Now that I have some posts I can see that the “edit” button disappears when you are looking at the complete loop of posts on your home page.

    For those with this same issue reading this, if you click on the heading of a specific post, it will take you to that post and then you will see the “edit” button appear. ??
