Edit broken after multi-page search

    Free edition.

    4 pages of listings.
    From page 1, search for an entry that’s normally on page 3.
    Result is one entry. Click edit.

    Rather than opening the entry for edit, listing page 1 is displayed, but without the search box.

    At this point page navigation is broken as in my previous report. That is, clicking any page number at the bottom of the screen results in no change.

    Note that if I navigate directly to page 3 and edit that entry, it works as expected.

    Also, if I search for a listing that normally appears on page 1, edit works as expected. So the issue appears to have something to do with the position of the listing (absent the search).

    Of course, search is really only useful for listings that aren’t on page 1 ??

    Hi tlhackque,

    Thanks for using our plugin, I just tested a search on one my our site and the page 3 listing successfully shows up as single listing(no other listings contain similar name) & also works as expected for an edit button.

    Sorry that you are facing this issue but think it’s something specific on your side, might be another plugin conflict. Please email us your wp-admin login details to debug these issues.

    I will create a temporary admin login for you. You should get the email within a few minutes.

    Please advise when you’re done. Also, tell me about any changes that you make.

    The reproducer that I use is to search for the word “turtle”.

    P.S. Also note that only https: is supported on the site, and that I had to enable wp-admin access thru the firewall.

    I think you missed the “P.S.” above… I was notified that you did login & change the password, so you found the site. The issue was that wp-admin was blocked & you managed to get to the site before I adjusted the firewall.

    In any case, I have e-mailed you with more detail. Please keep my site details off the forum, as it’s a low-capacity server for an internal site.

    Hi tlhack,

    This issue was specific to your side. We resolved it and also provided a way to get to all listings after a search with a Show all listings button. FYI, search box still disappears while in edit listing as when editing there is no point of searching a new listing. Once the searched listing is updated, the search box appears.

    Again these changes will be live for all users soon in a new version update.
