edit authentication login failed.

  • Hi.

    I am building another site with the latest wordpress so bear with me…

    On my current site, using 2.0.3, I tried to delete spam from the header file ( admin – presentation – theme editor – header) but when I click update file, it asks me for an authentification log in which fails and takes me back to the style sheet edit page.

    I wonder if it’s possible to correct this somehow –
    or edit the header file via ftp? I haven’t been able to find/access it so far…..
