Sorry not at present – you cannot assign individual users. However I will consider this for future release should others ask for the same functionality.

    Hi!

Are there any updates regarding my previous question?

Using this plugin with roles would be a big help for me!

Hi sorry have been busy with my day job recently but am planning to cover a number of requests in the next release when I have time. Not promising anything though as nobody else has requested this but if it’s not too time consuming I’ll give it a shot.

    Ok, great!

Any idea when this update will be released?

Don’t wan tot make any promises, sorry. As soon as I can ??

    Hi,

I’m using this plugin as well and I would also like this feature ??
So at least we are two now ??

    Noted ??

I’m dealing with a similar problem and came across a plugin called “user-role-editor” that allows me to create special roles and custom capabilities. With that in place, it would be simple for gedebuk and others to get what they need!

I have no connection with the author of this other (free) plugin; just thought it might help solve the problem without you having to reinvent the wheel…

Forgot to add something important: I use this to control access to a page via a custom template modified from the theme’s page.php file to include a check for the custom capability. That page, in turn, contains the shortcodes to perform the actual database maintenance. The special template can control as many pages as needed.

Thanks for the feedback chaa_OKC I hope that has helped others resolve their issues.

I have not had the possibility to test it yet, but I will test it quite soon.

    Thank you.
