    Hello,

    When I upload my .aom file I get the following js error:

    Cannot find main JS edge file /home/palx268290/domains/datainbeeld.com/public_html/kijk-leren/onderwerp1/wp-content/uploads/edge_suite/edge_tmp/src_1441109025/Assets/transparancytest_edgePreload.js.

    In Edge I choos for: Publish settings — Animate Deployment package.

    My Publish in Edge will not create a edgePreload.js file local on my computer.

    Any idea?

    Thanks
    Bouke

    Hi,

    Sorry for the question that may seem stupid.
    But you have inserted the preloader clip-art in preloader-stage?

    If you have, you should find the preloader clip-art in the folder /images and file projectname_edgePreload.js. in the publish/web folder.

    Hi,

    For animated content I use only bootstrap.
    Sorry that I have not placed an update.

    I see this issue marked as resolved but not sure what the actual solution is. I have the same problem with the missing edgePreload.js error and no idea how to fix it.

    For Edge version 6, we can’t find the option to export de preloader as an independent .js file.

    Where can I find this option?

    thanks

    Same problem here … anyone ?

    The same problem….

    Cannot find main JS edge file /var/www/vhosts/……./wp-content/uploads/edge_suite/edge_tmp/src_1453465365/Assets/Banners_edgePreload.js.

    I’ve only experiences with Adobe Edge Animate CC 2015:

    ‘Properties’ window > edit ‘Preloader’ option and insert Preloader Clip-Art what do you prefer (e.g. preloader4)

    File > Publish Settings > Publish Target
    Activate this option flag:
    Publish preload DOM as a separate file
    Host runtime files on Adobe CDN

    If you entered preload image, you’ll find it (e.g. preloader4.gif) in the images folder and yourprojectname_edgePreload.js. in the root of project.

    Exporting Animated Deployment Package as instructions of the plug-in, will no longer appear the message:
    ‘Can not find file … edgePreload.js main JS edge’

    https://blogs.adobe.com/edge/2014/10/06/the-new-edge-animate-is-here/

    This worked for me with Adobe Edge CC 2015 (new 2016 version):

    1. In the ‘Properties’ window > edit ‘Preloader’ option and insert Preloader Clip-Art

    2. File > Publish Settings > Publish Target
    -> (Under Web) Check ‘Piblish preload DOM as a separate file’ but make sure ‘Web’ remains unchecked.
    -> Check ‘Animate Deployment Package’
    -> Hit ‘Save’
    3. Save file

    4. Publish
