    I was just wondering if it was possible, on the free Virtue Theme, to have a top banner that went edge-to-edge?

    My current header image is visible here;

    https://www.ckmartialhearts.com

    As you can see, the image is in the middle. But if possible to have from side to side, that would be more awesome. Something like this site does;

    https://thedragontrip.com/

    Or is that only possible on the Premium theme?

    Just let me know. Thanks!

  • You can now select full width slider in Appearance >Theme Options > Home Slider Settings and select Full Width Slider. It was previously only an option in the premium theme, but now you can accomplish it in the free one as well!

    hope that helps!

    Hey Kevin, thanks for your reply!

    My apologies though, I didn’t ask my question clearly enough. I’m not asking how to make the sliding images go edge to edge, but the photo at the very top of my page, the one where my ‘CK Martial Hearts’ logo is shown.

    Is there any option to make that static image fill the screen from side to side?

    Hello,
    I am getting this error in Firefox.

    The address isn't valid
    The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.
        Web addresses are usually written like https://www.example.com/
        Make sure that you're using forward slashes (i.e. /).

    Please advise.

    If the link doesn’t work, you should still be able to copy and paste the URL from my first post into your browser address bar, and reach my page from there.

    Or are you saying my page doesn’t load at all for you?

    Got your site to load, just can’t solve this for you, sorry.

    No worries, thanks for taking a look. ??

    I don’t believe that what you’re trying to do can be accomplished simply within the free version of the theme. The only real full width option for a picture on top of the page is that full width slider. I think that following the steps in this form might get you there though, so I would try this.

    Cheers Kevin. I’ll take a look and hopefully get that to work. ??

    But also, is full width top banner an option in Premium do you know? If so, I might just upgrade. It’s an awesome theme anyhow.

    Cultural Keys,
    The premium theme does come with a sitewide banner option. It doesn’t stretch fullwidth by default, but you can make it do so with some very basic css that I would be happy to help you with.
    You could also use a fullwidth slider as Kevin suggested and only use one image so it does not slide.
    Hope that helps!

    Hey Hannah!

    Does premium have the option to have BOTH a fullwidth banner AND a video underneath, or scroll underneath, for example?

    Also, how exactly do I upgrade by current theme from free to Premium? I’ve been going free for far to long. ??

    Yes, you could add a video to any page via page builder.
