edditing pages to remove date and comments

  • Hello,

    I am looking to remove the static date that displays the date the page was made. Also I want to remove any reference to comments. I have comments turned of but the pages still referece comment details.

  • open your theme, then your php file that displays your blogs.. it is index.php in mine fwiw…

    delete the parts you don’t want.

    No, in clasikue there’s others. You should look at page.php and single.php too.

    There are no page.php and single.php in my clasikue theme.
    My site does not require comments so I removed the comment.php reference from the index.php and that worked out well.

    Now I just need to keep the date on the posts and remove from the pages.
