    Hello,

Once again, great work with the many recent updates of this fabulous plugin which is going from strength to strength and thank you for adopting some of the ideas suggested previously.

I just updated to the latest Cooked Pro version, added API keys for the Edamam and calculated on our latest two recipes but the nutritional information is not showing on the recipes. Can you advise what I’m missing?

    Thank you

Oh and I’ve also noticed that when the Ingredients list is divided into sections and I click “Calculate Nutritional Information’ an error message often pops up as follows ‘Error: Your recipe seems to have insufficient quality to process correctly. Please check the recipe and try again.’

Okay I figured out that you need to add the Nutrional Facts widget to the Pixwell theme to get it to show. It’s not the prettiest thing but I’ll work with it.

    @flinty2000 Hello and thank you.

For the API issue you are facing, can you show me which recipe you are getting that error with? I am wondering if the Edamam API is giving back correct information or not. You could also test the API manually using this demo: https://developer.edamam.com/edamam-nutrition-api-demo

As for the Nutrition Facts, you are correct, you can add the shortcode to any area in your theme where you want the nutrition information to show. You could also override the styles in your theme using custom CSS to make it look different. I was trying to model it as close as possible to the FDA recommendations found here: https://www.fda.gov/food/food-labeling-nutrition/changes-nutrition-facts-label

Thank you. We will look into the Nutritional table styling and play more with the Edamam API. If there are issues we will get back to you.

Note also that google is giving us errors for the following with regards to recipe structured data:

Either ‘image’ or ‘video’ should be specified (in ‘recipeInstructions’)

    Missing field ‘name’ (in ‘recipeInstructions’)

@flinty2000 Although those are just optional field and should just be warnings not errors, I am going to fix this in the next version.

If a recipe direction step has a image attached I will include it in the image field.

As for the name field, this is currently a bug when the recipe instructions do not have a heading section. The heading is used as the name but this will also be fixed in the next release.

@flinty2000 Hey version 1.8.5 has been released that should fix the warnings with the “name” property.

    Hi,

    Superb.

Now to try and workout how to get the nutritional table to appear on mobile view as the Nutrition widget for Pixwell only appears in desktop view. Where do I find shortcode for the nutritional data?

Hey, you can show the nutrition facts with [cooked-nutrition] shortcode.
