ecto, image upload, and “lost network connection”

An ecto user found out that uploading to WordPress will fail if you have set the destination directory in the WordPress control panel to ‘../wp-content’. This works fine for the upload script used by the WordPress interface, because it is ‘wp-admin/upload.php’, but when you run ‘xmlrpc.php’, it crashes because it can’t find the directory. Putting the full path of destination directory under Options -> Miscellaneous instead of the suggested ‘../wp-content’ fixed the problem.
