• I am building a PTA site for our school. We are not a store and are not selling anything, however 3 of our pages ask for money:

    1. a “donate” page with an open-ended amount
    2. a “PTA registration” page which collects basic information and charges a single fee
    3. a page that parents use to register for a special event at the school, it has 2 fees, a discount field (percentage) and an optional donate field

I have been looking at the Registration Magic plugin because it looks really robust without getting into complex eCommerce functionality (but I am not married to this plugin; other suggestions welcome). It seems to cover everything we need. Will this flavor of plugin work for a simple “registration” site, or do I have to have an eCommerce plugin? Thank you!

ps – my URL is not currently public

  • Hello ,
The Give plugin is a good easy option for collection money. But, since you are handling fees/registrations WooCommerce may be more versatile option. WooCommerce is managed by “Automattic” the same company behind WordPress.com.
    Cheers,
