ECommerce Media Categories Vanish

I can see what the problem is. The product categories are being used for the items, rather than the media categories. Seeing as you are using a master product (308), it does not make sense to use the product categories from that single product. I will change it so that the master product categories are ignored.

In WP Admin, goto FooGallery -> Account and opt into beta releases. I will release a new beta version which fixes this problem.

I didn’t mention it but it also is failing to display the “add to cart” button even thou “show” is selected and when you click and select “add to cart” from the right side display .. it adds to cart but doesn’t redirect to the cart even though that is also selected.

I think there are 2 separate things in what you mention:

1) The “Add to cart” button will not show for the master product as it is a variable product, which means it cannot be added directly to the cart without a variation selected first. You can get around this by setting the “Select Options” Button to be shown and changing the “Select Options” Button Text to “Add To Cart”.

2) Then in the lightbox, when you choose a variation and click add to cart, it will not redirect to the cart. The lightbox buttons work differently to the buttons on the gallery thumbs. We did not want to redirect to the cart from the lightbox, as the visitor might want to add multiple images from the gallery to the cart before going to the cart.
