I just upgraded my website from php 7.0 to php 7.1. After upgrade, I was unable to update plugins and themes. After a lot of testing, I discovered that the eCommerce Product Catalog Plugin appears to be the culprit. When I disable it, I can upgrade themes and plugins. When I disable it, I can’t.

Site is https://www.raptorresource.org. The front end works just fine, the catalog works just fine (https://www.raptorresource.org/learning-tools/field-guide/) and I can access the admin tools – i just can’t upgrade when the eCommerce Product Catalog Plugin is enabled. Any suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @mrsfalcon,

Why you cannot update? Do you see any error?

What plugin version are you using?

I just get the message ‘upgrade failed’ on themes and plugins. I’m using Version 2.8.23.

    Thank you for the update.

What other plugins and theme do you have active? Did you try to test it with only eCommerce Product Catalog active?

Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and check if any error shows up in the log?

I tested against plug-ins and themes. Even when I shut off everything but this, it didn’t work. The same was also true when I switched themes.

When I make a change backend, this error pops up:
    https://www.raptorresource.org/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?_fs_blog_admin=true 500

It pops up when I try to change the text in a widget, when I search for a new plug-in, or when I try to activate a plugin. I can deactivate plugins, however.

    Hello @mrsfalcon,

    Thank you for the information.

Can you please enable the Query Monitor plugin so you can see the exact PHP error?

Also please let me know what WordPress and eCommerce Product Catalog versions are you using.

Hi ndre! Sorry for the late reply. I applied the last upgrade and it is no longer a problem. Marking it fixed.

    Thanks!
