    Hi,

    How do I remove “ebay listings from auction nudge” right at the bottom? I understand you make money through ebay partnership (thats fine), but having this right at the bottom, will show up in search results.

    it really should be an option to show or not, I rather a clean way to do it, otherwise will just hide it in a hacky way (so it will be hidden regardless).

    Thanks

    Hi @b2nmusic,

    Thanks for reaching out. As the powered-by link is added dynamically after page load it shouldn’t get picked up by the search engines, so you are safe to hide this (with CSS or otherwise).

    Oddly enough you are the first person to request an option for this in 15 years. I’ll certainly give your suggestion some thought.

    Cheers,
    Joe

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for reply, ye if you search them words on google, it shows on other websites, really don’t want my website showing up for keywords other than being associated to the website in question. As said im fine with the ebay partnership part, you must make money like all of us, but not having an option to hide it, means even if I hide it (through hacky methods), it will still be present even if hidden and thus viewable when searched via the browser.

    Hi @b2nmusic,

    Older versions of Auction Nudge did include a powered-by link that was readable by the search engines. Because Auction Nudge has been around for so long these are still indexed.

    This was changed years ago to prevent this.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Joe

    still waiting on a solution for this, nothing you said helps, you know exactly what I mean, the plugin adds “ebay listings from auction nudge” with an embedded link at the bottom of the listings.

    You have done it in a way to make it very difficult to remove also (so intentionally difficult) with no unique css class to it, so it cant event be hidden by custom css.

    Like said I do not mind the ebay partner link, its this bit at the bottom.

    Hi @b2nmusic,

    My sincere apologies, my understanding was that you had already figured out how to hide this but were simply requesting it as an option.

    Even without an explicit class the content can absolutely be hidden, though I take your point that this could be made easier. I have therefore added the class an-powered-by, so you can now hide with the following CSS:

    .auction-nudge-items .an-powered-by {
    display: none;
    }

    Please do let me know if you require further assistance.

    Cheers,
    Joe

    Thank you Joe, yes i did hide it by a real hacky way, wasn’t good.

    This now makes your plugin absolutely perfect, you really need to charge for it, its the best on the market in what it does and what it can be customized to be also vs other plugins (tried a couple of others).
