EasyDigitalDownloads Slow Queries with product bundles

  • Hi Support,

    I have a big problem with EDD and product bundle. Our site added 300 single downloads and I grouped them into a bundle (dev package).

    After that, the purchase confirmation or download history page takes 55s to load the dev package (included 300 products). It’s really slow and I don’t understand why is that.

    Please note: I tested with a brand new site, imported all products CSV from the old site then create a product bundle, its load pretty fast without any problem.

    Same live server or local server, 3rd plugins removed.

    So it is a ‘Bundle’ product of Easy Digital Downloads and there are 300 products in it.

    I think it is trying to fetch 300 associated records on single purchase page.

    Your bundle size is quite large. I think you should take a look at its official add-on ‘All Access Pass’ https://easydigitaldownloads.com/downloads/all-access/

    This will help you with large amount of bundle and also reduce the database size. The more info you can find on its page or you can ask to their team also about this if it fits in your case or not. They will help you.

    Thank you, I didn’t understand that with the new site, products and download history imported from the old site, I didn’t get the issue like the old site, speed is FAST, just 0. 33s to load the bundle instead 55s. Do you have any advices for this case so I can do with the database?
