Easy wp smtp always going to the spam folder

I doesn’t seem like Easy WP SMTP issue.

Which SMTP server are you using?

im using wordpress 4.8.2 and easy wp smtp 1.3.0

i try sending test email to my yahoo mail and email send to inbox but if i try sending test email to my gmail account email always going to the spam folder

Ok, what SMTP Host are you using in plugin’s settings?

SMTP Host: mail.radioaktif.id
Type of Encryption: SSL
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Authentication: YES

Like I mentioned earlier, it’s not Easy WP SMTP issue. Most probably, Gmail considers your SMTP server as not reliable, that’s why emails from it are going to spam folder.

Try using Gmail’s SMTP host instead, it should do the trick.

i already try using two different hosting and i have same result. can you tell me configuration using gmail smtp?

Sure. Here goes:

SMTP host: smtp.gmail.com
Type of Encryption: SSL
SMTP port: 465
SMTP username: [email protected]
SMTP Password: your gmail password

i have some error message ‘SMTP ERROR: Password command failed’

You need to use password from your gmail email account.

i already use username and password my gmail account

Make sure you put your full gmail account including @gmail.com in the SMTP username. E.g. if your email is [email protected], you need to put [email protected] as SMTP username, not just “youremail”.

yes sure i fill form with [email protected] and fill password with my gmail password and still doesnt work. are you try this method with your own gmail account and working?

yes it’s work if i only save changes but not work if i try to test email to my another gmail account
