Easy Translation

  • My inspiration is rolling in this part of the forum ! :-))
    It would be nice to have a separate file whith all language’s variables.
    It will be easy to translate all word of the blog interface (and others).
    For example : instead of open b2edit.form.php, search and change the word “Edit !” (word of the edit ! button), you go in b2language.php and just translate the word in your language. In french : Publiez !
    I have never understood why Michael haven’t made a french version of his script (it’s very strange… he is french after all) but I hope one day every languages will be able to be used easely.
    Every time I install b2, i need to translate everything and it takes me hours.

    Localization is definitely something we’re planning. Rest assured it is coming in a future version, we just need to get some other stuff out of the way first.

    Please count me in as a voluntary for translating to portuguese (brazilian). I love WP, and i have got so much help from this forum, this is the minimun i can do.
