• This plugin is easy to use, offers great default settings and a good variety of customizations options.

However, when I enabled it, my site had serious problems. I discovered that this was because WPEngine breaks other plugins caching, including this one.

Hi, thanks for trying BWP Minify out.

Is it possible that you share what you have found out so that I can write an FAQ or provide additional assistance?

    Thanks.

    Hi Khang,

I didn’t get a whole lot of details from WPE; their explanation was just that their caching engine breaks the caching of other plugins sometimes. I tried setting a different cache location for your BWP Minify; what happened is that BWP Minify was correctly generating that URL on the front-end, but wasn’t actually creating the minified js and css in that location. Eventually I gave up and switched to another plugin.

I’m sorry I can’t offer more concrete guidance on this. If you contact WPE, they might be able to give you the info you need to make it work.

    Aaron.

Springthistle, can you share the other plugin? I am also on WPEngine, and looking for a good minify plugin, since they block w3cache.
