Usually, I used to use BackupBuddy for backup AND migration… but often, it just doesn’t work… In this particular case, I alway had a timeout problem…
Usually, when I have problems with BB, I go with Duplicator… But in this case, I had warnings because of the file size and other problems…
So, decided to give AIO a try (I used it in different themes where they were using it to restore demo, but never to migrate a site)… It went perfectly well and my site is working fine!
The only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is that, as opposed to others (unless there is something I don’t know…), we need to first install WP, then the plugin and upload the backup before we can restore… Other plugins allows us to restore/migrate without installing WP first…
