easy sidebar picture gallery widget

i am looking for easy sidebar picture gallery widget that

1.displays random images from all galleries i have
2.pictures should be clickable and link to gallery from where they are

i am testing nextgen sidebar gallery plugin now
but 1. pictures looks distorted
2. clicking on them dont link me anywhere

maybe i just need to learn how to use it?
any advices,suggestions will be apreciated, thank you
