I subscribe to Easy Recipe Plus. After upgrading to WP 3.6 last night, on working on a new post, I clicked on the ER icon to enter a recipe. The ER window pops up but is covered underneath a grey screen that wouldn’t allow me to get to the ER window no matter what I do.

  • Yes, i am using free version and got the same problem. WP 3.6 + EasyRecipe = not working.

Same here. I love the way the recipes look though … don’t want to stop using it.

Same problem with my free version. I started a ticket a bit ago but haven’t heard any updates.

Same here (free version on 3.6 with the 2013 theme). In my (short) experience, they’ve been very responsive to support issues, so lets hope for a quick fix!

We’ll have an update out later today that will fix this

This is not resolved! In fact, I have been unable to update this plug-in for weeks. When I try to it says “error, file not found.”

THis is what I have been geting for weeks when I try to update:

    Downloading update from https://www.easyrecipeplugin.com/download//easyrecipeplus.zip…

    Download failed. Not Found

To get updates automatically for the Plus version you need to enter your license key on the EasyRecipe settings page.

Will the update for 3.6 WordPress compatibility be resolved soon? I am still getting the grey “overlay”.

I just updated to version 3.2.2124 and it is working again in WP3.6.

Go to your EasyRecipe settings on the dashboard (for me, it’s down at the bottom), then select the Support Tab. It has a section that says EasyRecipe Version: and this will indicate if you have the latest version, or if there is an update available. If you don’t have the latest version, you can click to update right from that same spot.

I’ve found that this method is a bit more “up to date” than relying on the “Plugins” section of WordPress to notify me of updates to the plug in.

I upgraded to 3.2.1255 this morning and EasyRecipe is working again on WP 3.6. Thank you for the quick fix!

Sadly, I still have the undefined convertFractions error when clicking the print button (ticket #TKT-966438-1225).

I cannot find the 3.2 1255 upgrade. It doesn’t show as available on my plug in site.
Jayce53, can you please help me?!

I have EasyRecipePlus, and remember using my license key for initial installment but don’t know how to find it again for upgrade. But usually on my plugin page of dashboard, it will state there is an upgrade and that is not the case.

I found 3.2.1255 via the WP “Add New” plugin feature – just search for “Easy Recipe” – however, I’m still having problems.

Now when I try to publish a post, nothing happens (even if there’s no recipe on it). If I deactivate EasyRecipe, it all works.

My first thought was that some other plugin might be causing a conflict, but I haven’t added any since I last used EasyRecipe before the WP 3.6 upgrade.

Please ignore my previous post: 3.2.1255 IS working with WP 3.6.

Something else clobbered my site – it WAS NOT EasyRecipe.

I do still have the print issue from TKT-966438-1225.

My apologies for any confusion I caused.
