    FYI Josh

I found a minor conflict using WP Edit and Easy Modal on a site with Genesis theme.
When activated, Easy Modal overrides the “Formats” button. The list of Formats options is replaced with a list of Easy Modal shortcodes.
On another site the 2 plugins work fine together.

Both sites use a number of common plugins – the site with the problem has several unique plugins – Tried deactivating these but doesn’t fix the issue – so could be a theme thing.
I can’t switch themes as it’s a client site – I’m in the process of relocating and have packed my development server – will check for if it’s the theme in about 2 weeks after setting up again and let you know.

In the meantime wanted to give you a heads-up on the problem and marked as “Not Support Question”

Whatever was causing the conflict seems to have worked itself out ?? – Must have been a conflict with another plugin that got updated since reporting – or the WP 3.9.1 update fixed it.

We now have the formats options, as well as the modals (shortcodes) in the formats button drop-down list which is perhaps an unexpected bonus.

So yes – issue is resolved. (Thanks for your interest!)

PS: Sorry it took so long to follow-up – the move to the new town turned into a bit of a nightmare (long story), then a number of customers demanded their sites reverted back to WP 3.8 series (and your old plugin) which was a lot of extra work.

Oh God… I’m sorry. I can only imagine. Yeah, not everyone has embraced these latest updates unanimously…

Yes, I found a nifty new little tinymce feature which “merges” all style formats. This prevents my plugin from over-writing any other style formats which may be added by other plugins.

So yes – issue is resolved. (Thanks for your interest!)

Thanks Mike. As always, I appreciate your unbiased feedback ??
