Easy migration afte catastrophic fail with another method

I migrated my site to a new host with the Migration add-on and it was very smooth, easy and successful. I just followed the instructions.

This followed a totally failed attempt using VaultPress. It was a disaster. Not only did my site not migrate it corrupted the live site. It took me weeks to get it back to working the way it should. The problems were compunded by a problem I encountered with the GoDaddy back service. I almost scrapped the whole website. It’s a community volunteer website with no budget so hiring a developer to help was out of the question.

I was very nervous trying the migration again but as I said, it worked well with UpDraftPlus Migration. The $30 was well spent compared to the $3 VaultPress migration which costs me dozens of hours of work and stress.
