I am using the “Specific Post/Page Buy Now Button” feature.
I see that the user can purchase the page access and have two options to get to the page:
    – get redirected to the page right after paying (great!)
    – get an email with the link to the page (great!)

I was wondering if it would at all be possible to have some sort of a “generic” link on the website that these users could click that would take them to the page. This is for whenever they come back to the website and don’t have the emailed link but know the website address by heart.
Could I put on the website somewhere the actual link to the protected page that would be “recognized” in some way by the person who had purchased the page. Or would the person always get directed to the PayPal button all over again (even if they paid) if I were to put that link in the website?

Hope the question makes sense. I am not expecting lots of extra options when not using membership logging in and simply purchasing through buy now.

Loving the plugin so far! Thank you!

@icakeov The Specific Post/Page Buy Now functionality is independent and separate from the Level-access (Membership) functionality. One requires an account (membership) and one does not require, and cannot be used with, an account (Specific Post/Page Buy Now).

Since these are separate, there’s no way to “look up” what someone purchased with the Specific Post/Page Buy Now functionality, since they did not use (nor could they use) an account to make those purchases.

If you always require an account (you could even just require a Free Account), then you can sell Custom Capabilities on a Buy Now basis. You’d simply restrict each Post/Page to a specific Custom Capability, and then provide a Capability Buy Now button to the logged-in user to purchase access to whichever page they want to buy.

By having logged-in users purchase Custom Capabilities, you can then use some conditional code on the user’s My Account page that checks which Custom Capabilities are on their account and then show them links to each of the pages they purchased access to.

    Many thanks for your response!
Yes, I realized the perks of going with the option of creating memberships and went with that route.
