This morning Wordfence gave me the following warnings:

    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/readme.txt
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/languages/easy-fancybox.pot
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/languages/easy-fancybox-xx_XX.po
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/languages/easy-fancybox-nl_NL.po
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/languages/easy-fancybox-nl_NL.mo
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox-settings.php

Does anybody know what is going on here?
When I look in to the files lots has changed. I am not familiar with code so could not say out it is malicious or not.

    Any help appreciated.

  • No, nothing to worry about but you probably want to get rid of the warning… Can Wordfence ‘recover’ the files? If not, simply unsintall Easy FancyBox and re-install via Plugins > Add new. It will get you a clean installation but your settings will not get lost.
