Install, activate, done! We use the WP Rocket caching plugin, so I also cleared the cache after activating No Referrer, but that was it.

Also, I saw in the Support Threads for this plugin that some users were questioning the fact that you still see the “noreferrer” attribute in the editor when you edit a post. This is okay and expected. The plugin is not supposed to remove from the editor. The plugin removes noreferrer when rendering the page. This is the correct and preferred method. If you inspect the links on your posts you will see the noreferrer attribute is not there.

I verified with some of the sites we link to that they are now seeing our referral traffic again. So, problem solved!
