    Hi Guys

Wonder if you can help. I am running Easing Slider plugin on my website Click here but the slideshow images are not loading in Internet Explorer 9. I have tried switching the Load jQuery? to true and false but no luck.

Any ideas on how to get this to work in IE 9?

    Thanks

  • Hi yes your right webaware. Forgot to update script versions and the uploaded script.js file wasn’t the one I had been working on. Spend a long time trying to figure out the SVN system on my new computer hence a lot of files moving around in a short amount of time.

All looks good now. Fix is tagged as version 1.1.9. Also changed the de-activation functionality. Plugin settings will now no longer be deleted when the plugin is de-activated, but instead when it is uninstalled.

Hopefully things work this time around. Enjoy.

Thanks Matthew. I won’t look at it today (Saturday here, I’m not going anywhere near IE9!) but will check it out tomorrow when I’m back at work. cheers, Ross

Oh, and that fix mentioned above using document.documentMode probably won’t work for sites that allow IE9 to go into “compatibility” mode, so (off the top of my head, untested) it should probably be:

    isPreloaded: !(window.performance),

That will also pick up IE10, but who cares right now? ??

G’day Matthew, just tested 1.1.9 with IE9 and it’s just as good as on “real” web browsers — i.e. brilliant! Thanks ??
