Easily the leading WP theme today

  • If there is a theme built according to German Engineering principles, GeneratePress is certainly the one. Unlike many of the themes in this repository, including the leading ones in terms of downlaod, that come bundled with features that you may never use (i.e. barebones Social Sharing element), GeneratePress opts for a minimum set of powerful features that you can enable or disable as needed.

    Supplemented with the GenerateBlocks page builder, GeneratePress gives you the total design freedom to create website of your dreams.

    I’ve been using the theme for years on the number of client website, and I’m looking forward to the next GP’s next itteration, the dive into the full site editing announced by Tom recently and the opportunities this will bring to us.

    Lastly, it is a missconception that GeneratePress is for the power users and devs only. The recen templates, and the new one built by Kyle from the Admin Bar, will make this theme appealing and easy to adopt by any user.

    One thing that I whish GP had are some extra ecommerce features (aka Blocksy Pro add-on type features). Hopefully more attention to ecommerce will be paid in the coming months.

    When in doubt which theme to go with, go with GeneratePress!

    Love this. We put a lot of focus on things you may never see without really looking, but knowing the foundation is solid means a lot to us.

    I agree that we could use some more eCommerce features – I’m confident we’ll be able to address this nicely in our full site editing ??

    How the theme works from a blogger perspective? Mine is a content only website, no product, nothing to sell. Does it work well with Kadence blocks? Thank you in advance ??
