Easiest Way To Update WordPress Local From Live Site

  • Hello,

    I have a local install in which I test out plugins and themes. I need to to update the local database and content from my live site. I have two questions regarding this.

    1. Whats the best way to do this?
    2. Will I lose all my settings once the process is done?

    I feel like this is something peopel do all the time. So there has to be a plugin or a method for it. Thanks.
