Easier way to edit pages

Is there a plugin available that makes editing pages a bit easier?

Trying to draw tables and make columns in the page area. Html is there of course and when i try to paste my code in it simply isnt agreeing with the WP as I would like it to.

I guess I am just looking for a plugin that allows some extra features in the visual area of editing. Perhaps something with some more goodies or in depth options?

Anything like that exist?
