Earn Point Without Badge

    is it possible to create achievement that earn point only without earning badge.

    example:
    i want my member to earn 1 point everytime they comment on a post

    so my member can collect points as another achivement besides collecting badge

    actually this is more like a request,
    do you have plan to integrate with Jigoshop? so we can create achievement based on money that they spend, or how many items that they bought from our shop, something like that.

    i think it will be a great add for badgeos

    No automated way, best we have for that would be manual point awarding. Everything is based on the achievement types.

    No official plans for Jigoshop. Shouldn’t stop an ambitious developer from doing a 3rd party integration.

    i have another issue, so i will ask you here:

    i use Learndash-BadgeOS integration and found that required achievement steps have a very annoying limitation.

    When i choose required step:
    Learndash activity – completed course from a tag – particular tag
    the time(s) is limited only for 1 time

    what i want is, i can create achivement that require someone to complete particular course with particular tag several times.

    Why BadgeOS create lmitation in number of times? (like example, post comment, login, reply forum, all only in 2 decimals)

    I agree with that last message, I’ve found that the badgeos-learndash integration limits the number of times to ‘1’ for all badgeos steps and this limits the possibilities of using the two together.

    The limit was put in place before I was brought in as part of support for the LearnDash addon, so I don’t have any knowledge as to why it’s there. I’ve asked around for the contacts I’ve known who were involved with the project overall, but have yet to find someone who knows for sure.

    It SHOULD only be doing this for LearnDash related activity as per touchups for the last release I put out, not ALL step types. If it’s still affecting everything, regardless of step type, then we need to look into it again and see what’s going on there.
