Ean Generator -Prefix from – why only to 999

    Why is the prefix from – limited to 999. I have bought a pool of numbers in my country (590xxxxx)yyyyyy and I cannot enter a higher value. i.e. I would like the generation to start from 59012345xxxxxxx – how do I do this?

    Hi @darczello83,

    The idea was to allow setting EANs country prefix, and they all are in 000 to 999 range. Now, as you pointed it out, it seems like a useful feature to have in the plugin. Let me implement it and get back to you soon.

    Hi @darczello83,

    As promised, we’ve released a new plugin version (v2.7.0) today, where I’ve added an option to set an extra prefix. So after the update, please go to our “Tools” section (in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Tools”), and set the new option – “Seed prefix” – to 12345. Please give it a try and let me know what you think.

    P.S. Our “Country prefix (from)” option should be set to 590 in your case. And “County prefix (to)” option should be empty.

    works perfectly ! thank you. I have one more question: How to assign EAN variable to GTIN. It will be very helpful for generating XML for google merchant.
