EAE with Tablepress problem (reloaded)

Hi, I can’t make the email encoder work inside a table made with Tablepress. I read a previous post where it was suggested to add
add_filter('tablepress_table_output', 'eae_encode_email');
but if I place it into my functions.php all tables disappear. Since it wasn’t explain where to add it, I guess I’ve put it in the wrong place…any idea on how to solve the problem? Thanks.
