Each gallery image click opens a separate page for that image

How do I make it so that the lightbox opens / shows image on the gallery page instead of opening a separate page for lightbox.
(i.e. instead of like currently opening each image on it’s separate page and then you have to click it to to open, so now it needs two clicks and there is no button to return to the gallery or show “next” picture.)
