I have a website with 20 photo gallery pages built with Elementor that were able to be filtered by the Filterable Tags above the photos. Not only that, but when clicking on a photo, all photos were numbered and you were able to swipe through the images. The Filterable Tags are no longer clickable and the images are no longer numbered or able to be swiped through.

    I have tried:

    – Downgrading the Elementor version

    – Clearing website cache

    – Editing and re-saving the page via Elementor editor

This is not a browser-specific issue. Upon using the Inspect feature in Firefox I noticed I’m repeatedly getting the following error: “Uncaught TypeError: y.splice is not a function”. Unfortunately, I am not super familiar with JS, which may be where the issue lies.

    Elementor Version 3.25.1
    Essential Addons for Elementor 6.0.8

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Hello @mattmydude

Thank you for reaching out with these details, and I appreciate your thorough troubleshooting so far.

The issue with the non-functional Filterable Tags and the lack of swipe numbering in your gallery is likely tied to outdated JavaScript assets that may still be loading on your site. I noticed an outdated JS file from 14 days ago is still active, which may prevent updated code from applying correctly.

To resolve this, please try regenerating assets from the Essential Addons (EA) Dashboard and then clearing any existing cache. Here’s how:

    1. Go to the EA Dashboard within your WordPress site.
    2. Navigate to Tools then click on Regenerate Assets, see the screencast here: https://d.pr/AzYIWM
    3. Once completed, clear any website and browser caches to ensure all elements are loading fresh.

Regenerating the assets and clearing caches should resolve the JS loading issues and allow your gallery filters and swipe functionality to work as expected.

If you continue to experience any issues after these steps, please let us know, and we can look into additional troubleshooting options.

Thank you, and I look forward to assisting further if needed!

Regenerating the assets in both the EA Dashboard and the Elementor Tools section as shown in your screencast has fixed it! Thank you so much for your help.
