EA Filterable Gallery – display item name on video item hover

Well, it hasn’t been added for few reasons. Would you want to fetch the Title and Description from YouTube itself or do you want to have the freedom to add them manually?

Regardless, I will let our dev team know and hopefully, this time it will be implemented soon.

I would just like the “item name” and “item content” of the “Filterable Gallery Items” to show up on on video thumbnail hover (as it is the case with non-video items).

An option to show the title and description taken from (in my case) Vimeo directly would also be nice but an internal option would totally suffice for now.

Also, are there any plans to add a text field under the video lightbox, in which, apart from i.e. “item name” and/or “item description”, you can also add embedd codes? In my case I would like to embed the “Soundcloud Player” directly under the video lightbox.
Or is there a complementary plugin to add this functionality to the video lightbox?

If not, would you happen to know if all of the above mentioned functionality is offered in Elementor Pro?

We have discussed the issue with the dev team and hopefully, we might bring the feature to display the Gallery/Video item title below the lightbox image/video. For now, the dynamic content pull from Vimeo/YouTube may not be implemented but we might consider this as future plan.

On the other hand – I don’t have any idea about any complementary plugin to add this functionality to the video lightbox.
