  • Hello @tizz,

Thank you so much for sharing.
We have shared this forum thread with the developers and we are waiting for some feedback on their behalf.

    We’ll keep you posted.

    Hello @tizz,

Our developers suggested removing and reinstalling the plugin.
That to validate that there was not issues with the files during the update process.

Please, keep us posted, we are happy to help!

    Thanks @m00g.
I had already done this a few days ago, deleted both plugins (Gallery and Plus) and reinstalled.
I can’t say if the reported error has been solved, since I don’t see anything strange or new in backend or frontend.

The two big issues that I have with Nextgen are old-aged:
    – when I deactivate the plugin some settings are lost
    – my server crashes due to excessive consumption of resources e.g. when, after having deleted the image cache for some reasons, the galleries have to rebuild themselves.

    Hi @tizz,

This sort of problem is very complicated to track and the first thing that we are suggesting in similar cases is testing for a plugin conflict. I hope that you wouldn’t mind to temporarily deactivate all the plugins excepting NextGen Gallery, switch to a theme from the Twenty series and only after that proceed with NextGen Gallery plugin re-installation to see if NextGen’s settings will get reset in this case as well.
