• My subscribers are STILL not getting any blog posts from my site. Previous emails sent take at least 24 hours for anyone to reply. I keep being given different things to try – none of which are working. The latest suggestion to try a beta plugin seems ill advised as the very first thing I see on the instructions is not to try this on a live site. Can someone, anyone, just resolve this?

  • I’m having the same issue. Yesterday’s post (an important one!) never went out to my subscribers. In several years I never had this happen before. (side issue… it took more than an hour to post to Facebook. Unfortunately I didn’t wait longer than an hour and manually posted the info to FB, then it was duplicated when the post did eventually show up.

Following this thread as I am also having this issue with my subscribers not receiving my posts.

@skylarliberty The future version of Jetpack should address those issues, but as you’ve discovered in the other threads, it is still being tested right now. If you don’t feel comfortable trying the Beta plugin on your own site, you will need to wait until Jetpack 4.3.2 is released. This will happen as soon as we’re done testing the current Beta!

@susangiannantonio @shelove6 If you’d like, you can try using our beta plugin, available here:
    https://jetpack.com/beta

The beta plugin includes some fixes our developers have been working on for these kind of reported issues. As a result, using it should likely cause these problems to be resolved.

Once you install and activate the beta plugin, go to Jetpack -> Jetpack Beta and choose “Tagged Beta Releases” and make sure the “Auto-Update Jetpack when new betas are available” is checked and click the “Save my choice” button.

After you’ve installed it, and if the problem remains, could you let me know your site URL so I can take a closer look at your Jetpack settings, and check if I can help you from my end?
If you want your site URL to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:
    https://jetpack.com/contact-support/

    Thanks!

Jeremy, thank you for the helpful suggestion. Right when I got the beta version installed I also got a notification of the Jetpack update so I’m really not certain which resulted in the fix. Anyway, Jetpack did, indeed, send my most recent post out to my contact list.

Awkwardly, it also sent 2 posts, duplicates of the first, which I had deleted in my attempt to get one of them to go out to subscribers. Oh well….at least it is working once again. Thank you so much! https://www.susangiannantonio.com

Right when I got the beta version installed I also got a notification of the Jetpack update so I’m really not certain which resulted in the fix.

The update most likely appeared because you installed the Beta plugin; a Beta version was available, and you received a notification inviting you to update from the current stable version (4.3.1) to the Beta (4.3.2 Beta 2).

I am glad to hear that helped!

it also sent 2 posts, duplicates of the first, which I had deleted in my attempt to get one of them to go out to subscribers.

That’s interesting! Could you walk me through the steps you took to create, and then delete those posts, and let me know at what point you updated Jetpack in that process? I’d like to try and see if I can reproduce that bug on my end.

    Thanks!
