E-mailing to blog

  • I know this question has been asked tons of times, but I read them all and none of them helped me!! My problem is, I’m going away this summer for vacation (tomorrow actually) and so I want to be able to blog while I’m gone! I set up a secret e-mail (at Gmail, that’s okay right??) and when I e-mail it, it doesn’t blog it!! Can you please help??? Quickly! Before I leave!!

    If you are accessing GMail via the POP3 protocol, it should work.

    You’ll need to establish a cron job on your host; or you could try my WP-Cron plugin, which should do everything you need, all in convenient plugin form.

    I downloaded your plugin, but I don’t really get how to work it. Could you please help??? And so, I have Outlook Express on my computer. So I need to set it up so that I can receive my mail there right?

    The problem is Google uses a secure connection so the ports aren’t the same.
