E-mail verification & Approval Not working

Maybe try it delete my plugin then re install? It works well on all my sites. Also you can look in the options table for the plugin options ‘csds_userRegAide_Options’ copy and paste them into a text file and see if the ‘new_user_approve’ & ‘verify_email’ are set to one, also when a new user registers, there should be meta keys in the usermeta table to keep this from happening, the ‘approval_status’ should be ‘pending’ for not approved and ‘approved’ for approved. Also the email verified in the usermeta table is ’email_verification’ and that will be ‘unverified’ or ‘verified’. Also the user_status in the User table should be 2 until all the processes are complete. Outside of that I do not know. I tried to test for every possible combination of circumstances I could think of and it all went okay.

One other thought, those options are optional. You have to go to the Registration Form Options page, then select the New User Approve tab, and the new user approve and email verification settings will be located there, check yes for the ones you want to use and then Update New User Approve Options and then you should be good to go.

I am long-time WP user and know how to use plug-in and set up options.
I checked every details of options again and enabled user e-mail verification.
However, E-mail verification does not work.
1) Even though I enabled “Choose to require new users to verify email After New User Registration:-> yes”, new users can still log in without clicking link in his mail. Very strange.
2) To avoid any conflict, I installed WP 4.7 newly and tested with minimum plugins but result was same. Is your plugin really compatible to WP 4.7?
3) E-mail verification is essential to me. I am using other plugin for this purpose but it does not redirect original default WP-login/register. I do not want my visitor can still log in or register via WP default route(such as wp-login.php). So I am waiting for your new version to include e-mail verification. Visitors cannot log in before they confirm the link received to correct e-mail address.

If want to see actual site, I will give my site address and login ID by private mail.

I would like to add one another point.

New users are on “pending verification” but they can log in. Very strange.
