• Hello WooCommerce,

When a person orders an item on my webshop, he will get a customer processing order e-mail. WooCommerce shows that it is this e-mail and the template is in the right place:

    All other e-mails are disabled.

The e-mail that customers recieve, is different (an older version), also with a different e-mail subject.

I have purged the Varnish cache and the W3 total cache plugin mulitple times, and it has been sending these e-mails for a few months now (I recently noticed).

I downloaded the whole wp-contents folder and scanned for the content of the e-mail, but it is not in the wp-contents folder.

Would anyone have an idea what is going wrong?

    Best,
    Caspar

  • Hi,
The possibility is that you could not find the contents of the email in the template, because the templates usually have text fields in English.

To keep track on outgoing emails you may want to install the WP Mail Logging plugin.

Ignore what Woocommerce shows you on the settings page and navigate manually to the template file and check its contents.

    Hi,

Also in the FTP the e-mails can’t be found in my child-theme/woocommerce/emails/plain/.

I downloaded the complete FTP and searched for the phrase sent in the e-mail but it is not found on the server. Do you have an idea where the e-mail text might be stored, if not in a file on the server? Does it save e-mail templates to the database?

    Best,
    Caspar
