E-Mail Notifications

    Hi. Small problem. So I used to get e-mails for every non-spam comment posted on my blog.

    Now I no longer get those e-mails.

    At first, I thought it just stopped sending me e-mails from non-spam comment authors I’ve approved in the past–

    but now I see it doesn’t send the e-mail for ANY non-spam comment author.

    Any clues how I can get the e-mail notification back? Thanks!

    Ironically not since April 1. Since then I’ve received about 12 non-spam comments with no e-mail notification. And they’ve all just automatically posted themselves, without approval.

    Also, I forgot to mention– even before this date, I’d log into wp-admin and find that I have comments waiting for approval– but received no email letting me know when they were originally written!

    Oh wait– I’m discovering this may be a g-mail issue. I just saw some of the comment notification e-mails in my spam folder.

    FWIW, I recently only fixed my email notifications by adding and alias for [email protected] to one of my mailboxes (as the email catch all wasn’t working on my domain)

    I also installed wp-mail-smtp plugin which helps give you better control of how and where the emails are sent.
