Under E-Mail notifications, I have setup the Recipient as {email-1}, and From is the admin mail id.
Still the Thankyou mail is not going to the user.

  • Hi @raunhar

I just filled out the form and successfully got the submission email as an end user to my Gmail.

Maybe (depending on the mail provider) the message may be getting sent to spam?

You could also setup a free WordPress SMTP mail plugin like suggested here to help with mail deliverability issues, and to get access to an email log that may show more information about what’s happening with your messages.

    Hope this helped.

I had tried sending to yahoo id. If I add the {email-1} as addon along with admi in the Submission message, then it is is delivered, but not as stand alone

Can you please share an export of your form (in the “broken” state when you have {email-1} on its own), share it on a site like PasteBin, and post the link here.

That way people can take a closer look.

Can you try installing the SMTP plugin as recommended above and see if the issue persists? If so, can you share the “Email Log” from the plugin (save it to PasteBin and post a link here).

    Hi @raunhar

    I hope you’re well today!

It is indeed possible that some providers (recipient end) may be rejecting or filtering (or at least marking as spam) e-mails that appear to be “spoofed”. This would happen if you set From e-mail address to different address than it’s actually used to send e-amil and sending mail server doesn’t really override it.

But I’m not sure what do you mean by ” If I add the {email-1} as addon along with admi in the Submission message,”. Do you mean that you use both mails in “From Email” setting in “Advanced” settings of e-mail notification? Or that you use both as “recipient” of the same notification?

If you could export and share the form for us to check it would be great too.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello @raunhar ,

We haven’t heard from you for over a week now, so it looks like you don’t need our assistance anymore.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
    Kasia
