e-mail notice to reset password
-
I don’t know whether someone is trying to hack my WP account, but for the 2nd time in almost as many days, I have received 3 e-mails from “[email protected]” with a link to click if I want to reset my password. The e-mails are identical except for the code in the link to reset my pw.
So I went to www.remarpro.com and attempted to log into my account. I was unsuccessful; none of the passwords I have recorded for various WP accounts would work, so I clicked the link to reset my password.
I then received an identical (except for the code in the link) e-mail from WP, but this time I did click the link to reset my pw (because I had initiated the request).I did not request the previous requests to reset my pw.
Is someone really trying to hack my WP account? I can’t imagine why, unless someone thinks it’s cool to post entries to someone else’s blog.
