E-commerce Plugins and Services

  • Hello!

    What plugins do you recommend for a complete online store? We would like our customers to be able to register on the site or automatically be registered on the site when they make an order. Also, what credit card or payment processing in NZ currency would you recommend?

  • There’s a lot of e-commerce plugins out there. The main one that I see around here is WooCommerce, but please do a search for yourself as there’s a lot of others that may suit your own needs better.

    As for payment gateways, that’s going to depend on what your bank can offer, if you have a merchant account, if you only use PayPal, etc. Most of the e-commerce platforms that I know have a lot of options, but if you need something specific I’d suggest asking each one before you commit to it.
