• Hello guys,

I’m thinking of creating a web site on the WordPress platform for my small services business, but I’m new here and don’t know much yet about how to realize what I need, so could you please give me some advice on the plug-ins that could realize the following:

I need to have a personal account system on my site, which would allow my customer to come, log in and then to have a personal page in front of him, where he could calculate the price of his order, place an order, pay with Visa/Mastercard and then trace the execution of his order and the history of his own orders, while I could mark the order as “executed” when it’s done. What would you say? Is that possible with already built tools (commercial of free) or I need to hire a programmer here?

  • there is the wp e-commerce plugin that works with paypal/ google checkout and is highly customisable but it would require some skills to make it do what you describe.

Otherwise, it is quite easy to set up an online shop using it.

yeah, e-commerce definitely does most of what you want.

It’s matured a lot recently, and works pretty well. The paid gold version works even better, and that’s only somewhere around $50

I’m sure the developers there would make it do exactly what you need for some sort of fee
